1. The deal
Murder Mystery For 2 is a free-to-play browser game. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. Simple as that.
2. Your account
- Sign-in is optional. Without it, your progress is local to one device.
- You're responsible for what you do with your account.
- Don't share accounts or impersonate others.
- Pick a nickname that doesn't harass, defame, or impersonate. We reserve the right to reset offensive nicknames.
3. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Cheat the leaderboard (script-driven submissions, multiple accounts, score injection)
- Reverse-engineer the case logic to leak solutions
- Scrape or hammer our API at unreasonable rates
- Use the live co-op channel or voice chat to harass another player
- Upload illegal, infringing, or hateful content as nicknames or case names (once UGC is available)
We may temporarily or permanently restrict access for repeated violations. We try to be reasonable but the call is ours.
4. Intellectual property
- Case content (text, characters, art) is © Murder Mystery For 2. All rights reserved.
- You may share your result emoji-grid and screenshots freely.
- Once user-generated case creation is enabled, you retain ownership of your cases. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display them on the Service.
5. Purchases & refunds
- The daily case and a set of free cases are free to play. Two single-payment plans unlock every other case on your account, plus in-game voice chat and the Voice-Only mode: a 24-Hour Pass (access for 24 hours from purchase; a further pass extends it) and Lifetime (permanent access). Neither is a subscription and nothing renews.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
- Purchases are tied to the account you're signed in with. Keep access to that email address.
- 14-day money-back guarantee: email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunded purchases remove the unlock. hello@murdermysteryfor2.com
6. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but the Service is provided "as is", without warranty. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
7. Liability
We're a small project. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you've paid us in the preceding 12 months — which, on the free tier, is zero. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time via the in-app sign-out and email request. We can suspend access for violations of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Disputes go to Istanbul courts.
